PRAXIS Test Prep
PRAXIS test prep is relatively straight forward. An individual planning to take a PRAXIS test should:
- Familiarize themselves with the topics covered in the test they are going to take. This can be done by obtaining the "Tests at a Glance" (TAAG) publication available online at the Educational Testing Service web site.
- Review notes and textbooks from past course work as it relates to the topics covered for the particular test.
- Practice with sample tests or sample test questions. PRAXIS I test takers may want to consider using the PLATO Pre-Professional Skills Simulated Test that is available on the web (more information is available at www.plato.com).
- Make use of the Diagnostic Preparation Program available from ETS. The PRAXIS Diagnostic Preparation Program gives a test taker custom feedback about their performance for a particular PRAXIS Test. This can be used by individuals who do not achieve a passing score on a test to identify specific challenge areas as well as create a custom preparation plan for that test.
